Test Principle

Place sample between upper and bottom pressure plate with adding a certain of load), and

dial indicator will display the thickness of test sample.

Operation

To prepare specimens:

Determination of specimen position: selected from the same batch of material scattered location  without scar specimens.

Operation

1.Turn on power ZERO/ON,and select unit in/mm.according to standards.

2.Make upper and bottom pressure plate overlap, press the ZERO key will display to ZERO.

3.Lift up load, to make upper pressure plate rise up to place sample on.

4.Place sample piece onto bottom pressure plate.

5.Slightly place down load, when upper pressure plate press sample and release operator’s hand, read out the thickness value directly from the displayer.

6.At least test 3 different points of sample to calculate its average.
