Through the capillary phenomenon generated by the micro-groove on the surface of the fiber, the moisture absorption fast drying functional fiber can be rapidly transferred to the surface of the fabric through the core absorption, diffusion, transmission, and so on.Therefore, the research on the hygroscopicity of fast drying fiber and fabric has very important market and environmental protection significance.


By referring to the test standards of moisture absorption and rapid drying, the moisture absorption and rapid drying ability of the fabric was measured by three performance indexes, namely vertical core suction height, diffusion area and drying rate, which reflected the three processes of moisture absorption, moisture conduction and moisture loss on the fabric.
