Atomization test of atomization tester

2019-04-16

Atomization is the condensation of volatile substances released from automotive interior parts and glass materials. Some volatile substances will cause harm to human body and affect human health. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct atomization test on automobile interior materials.

About the atomization tester

Atomization/condensation is the condensation of volatile substances released from automotive interior parts and materials on glass.Automotive interior materials, such as leather, plastic, textiles, adhesive materials, adhesives, etc., contain some volatile substances.Especially in the sunlight, the car temperature will become very high, and increase the evaporation.Volatile gas condenses on Windows or windshields, causing poor visibility and affecting drivers' attention and traffic safety. Some volatile substances can affect passengers' health. In order to control volatile substances, it is necessary to carry out atomization test on automotive interior materials. If the atomization value exceeds the standard index, the materials are not allowed to be used in automotive interior.

In the 1970s, a large European automobile factory began to study the characteristics of fog. In the early 1980s, the German automobile standards drafting committee and the composite materials drafting committee jointly formed the "fog" working group, and began to study the test method and replication method of fog, which was released in 1992.D corresponds to standard DIN75201 "determination of fogging characteristics of front windscreen of motor vehicle decorative materials".Subsequently, the American motor vehicle engineer and the international organization for standardization based on DIN75201 modified, released ISO6452 and SAEJ1756.According to the above standards, the world's major automobile manufacturers have issued industry testing standards, and put forward requirements on the fogging characteristics of automotive interior.

Through the automobile interior decoration atomization test, the material volatile substance control was realized, and the automobile pollution was reduced effectively.Atomization tester has become an important means for automobile manufacturers to control product quality.

At present, there are many domestic and foreign standards for automobile anti-fogging test, which involve three test methods: glossiness method, gravity method and fogging method.
