WHY CHOOSE THIS UNIVERSAL TENSILE TESTING MACHINE
✅ Multi‑material Compatibility
One benchtop tester covers tensile, peel, tear, shear and elongation tests for textiles, plastics, rubber, non‑woven fabrics, safety ropes and harness webbing. Handle most of your daily QC & R&D material tests on a single platform.
✅ Global‑Standard Compliance
Designed to satisfy widely‑accepted ASTM, ISO and BS standards (ASTM D882, D3330, D5169, ISO 527, ISO 6383 and more). Swap corresponding fixtures, grips and cutting dies to meet different test‑method requirements for accredited lab testing.
✅ Modular & Interchangeable Fixture System
Flexible modular grip design. Change jaw faces, jigs or cutting dies instead of buying multiple testers. Lower your capital investment while expanding your test capability.
✅ High‑precision Servo Control & Intuitive Software
Closed‑loop servo drive delivers stable test speed and accurate force readings. The supporting PC software auto‑generates test curves, calculates key parameters and exports PDF / Excel test reports for easy documentation.
✅ Lab‑grade Build for Long‑term Reliability
Rigid machine frame, high‑accuracy load cell, durable gripping components. Built for heavy‑duty daily laboratory QC, third‑party testing institute and material research work.
✅ Complete One‑stop Solution & Global Support
We offer matched fixtures, cutting dies and auxiliary accessories in one order. Remote installation guidance, operation training and after‑sales technical support are provided for overseas customers.
FAQ
General Performance
Q1: What material types can your universal tensile tester test?
A1: Our benchtop UTM supports tensile, peel, tear, shear and elongation tests for a wide range of materials, including plastics, rubber, textiles, non‑woven fabrics, safety ropes, safety harness webbing, PSA tapes and hook‑and‑loop fasteners.
Q2: Which international standards is this tensile machine compliant with?
A2: The main unit meets common ASTM, ISO and BS test standards such as ASTM D882, D3330, D5169, D5170, D1938, D3759, ISO 527, ISO 6383. Test compliance depends on correct matching of grips, fixtures, test speed and specimen preparation.
Fixtures & Accessories
Q3: Do I need to buy extra fixtures for different tests?
A3: Yes. One main tester can handle multiple test methods, but different grips and jigs are required. For example, peel test needs peel‑sled fixture; trouser tear needs dedicated cutting dies; filament tape requires drum‑wrap grips. We provide full fixture options according to your test list.
Q4: Can one set of grips work for both plastic film and woven webbing?
A4: No. Thin film requires rubber‑faced side‑action grips to avoid cutting samples. Heavy‑duty webbing and safety harness need heavy‑load serrated grips to prevent slipping. Different jaw faces are interchangeable on the same grip body.
Q5: Do you supply specimen cutting dies?
A5: Yes. We offer standard cutting dies for trouser tear, dumb‑bell plastic specimens and strip samples. Please specify which standard you follow (ASTM or ISO).
Machine & Operation
Q6: Is this machine computer‑controlled? What software functions are included?
A6: It is computer‑servo driven. Our software records force, displacement, elongation; generates test curves and test reports. You can set test speed, hold‑force time and export PDF / Excel reports.
Q7: What load‑cell capacity should I choose?
A7: Select capacity so that your actual test force falls within 10‑90 % of load‑cell range. Tell us your maximum breaking force of your samples, and we will recommend the proper load‑cell.
Calibration & Laboratory Usage
Q8: Can this machine be used for CNAS / ISO‑17025 accredited lab reports?
A8: The hardware supports accredited testing. Final accreditation also requires fixture calibration, method validation, specimen conditioning and correct environment control in your laboratory.
Q9: How often does the tensile tester need calibration?
A9: We recommend annual calibration for load‑cell and displacement system. All replaceable fixtures should also be checked periodically.
Lead‑time & After‑sales
Q10: What is your delivery lead‑time?
A10: Standard machine: 3‑4 weeks. Orders with special custom fixtures will need extra production time.
