Test Principle

Test probes are used for assessing completely bound openings for head and neck entrapment.

Standards

EN71-8                                                

ISO 8124-4  

1.Insert probe C into the opening with a force of 220 N. If the opening allows the passage of probe C, determine whether the opening also allows the passage of probe D when inserted with a force of 100 N.

2.Insert probe E into the opening with a force of 100 N. If the opening allows the passage of probe E, determine whether the opening also allows the passage of probe D when inserted with a force of 100 N.

3.  Insert the probes perpendicular to the opening and do not tilt them.
