Universal testing machine test project is very wide, the main test project mainly has: the tensile stress, tensile strength, stretch stress, stress and elongation, rupture strength, break elongation, yield strength, yield point elongation, yield point, tensile stress, tear strength and peel strength, puncture strength, bending strength, elastic modulus, etc.How are test items defined?The following is a brief description of the main project test features:

Brief introduction of the main test items of universal testing machine:

1. Tensile stress: the stress produced by the specimen during tensile test, the value of which is the ratio between the force applied and the original cross-sectional area of the specimen, in unit of MPa. Dumbbell shaped or annular shaped specimens are often used in rubber tensile test;

2. Tensile strength: also known as tensile strength, refers to the maximum tensile stress of the specimen until its fracture in the tensile test, that is, the tensile strength (unit MPa);

3. Constant elongation stress: refers to the tensile stress of rubber materials when the working part of the sample is stretched to a given elongation rate.

4. Elongation at fixed stress: the elongation at a given tensile stress;

5.breaking strength: it refers to the stress of the material when it breaks. A linear load is applied on the diameter of the sample. When the sample reaches the strength of failure, the unit is Mpa;

6. Elongation after elongation: In the tensile experiment, the relative elongation of the sample's distance after tensile break is equal to the absolute elongation of the distance divided by the distance of the sample before tensile;

7. Yield strength: also known as yield limit, it is the yield limit of metal material when yielding phenomenon occurs, that is, the stress resistant to trace plastic deformation.For metal materials without obvious yield, the yield limit is defined as the stress value of 0.2% residual deformation, which is called conditional yield limit or yield strength.

8. Elongation at yield point: refers to the elongation at the yield point of the sample;

9. Tensile stress at yield point: refers to the transition point of the "Hooke zone" and the yield zone on the tensile curve as the yield point, and the stress and strain corresponding to the yield point are respectively called the yield point stress and the yield point strain;

10. Tear strength: refers to the test of the stress when the thin film or rubber plastic material is torn;

11. Stripping strength: refers to the maximum load per unit width required to separate the two bonded substances of the adhesive under specified stripping conditions;

12. Bending strength: the maximum stress that the material can withstand when it breaks or reaches the specified deflection under bending load, mainly used to test the performance of the material under bending load;

13. Shear strength: refers to the strength limit when the external force is perpendicular to the material axis and presents shear action on the material. It is mainly used to test the ability of the material to bear shear force;

14. Elastic modulus: also known as Young's modulus, refers to the ratio of the normal stress and the corresponding positive strain of the material in the elastic deformation stage;

Application of main test items of universal testing machine:

Universal testing machine is generally used in textile, rubber, plastic, film, adhesive, steel, glass, touch screen, waterproof material, wire and cable, wire, wire, metal bar, metal plate and other photovoltaic materials and clothing industry.
