2019-05-23

The color fastness tester is a common instrument for testing the color fastness to perspiration.Suitable for dyeing, printing or other colors.Textile fibres, various yarns and fabrics and dyestuffs used in textiles.

Test method:

BS EN ISO 105 E04

Instrument materials:

1. Perspirometer;

2. Balance, weighing accuracy is +/-0.001g;

3. The oven;

PH meter; 4.

5. Volumetric flask;

6. Multi-fiber test fabric;

7. Grayscale of dyeing and discoloration.

Sample preparation:

1. Samples must be tested under delivery conditions without washing and/or tumbling before testing.

2. Only DW type multi-fiber from James Heal can be used.

3. The front of the fabric/sample must be tested.

4. A liter of sweat must be freshly prepared.

5. The alkaline sweat test solution must be prepared with salt.

6.Na2HPO4 2H2O sodium diphosphate dehydration.

7. Free of Na2HPO4 12H2O salt sodium diorthophosphate dodecahydrate.

8. 50:1 liquid must be used to ensure uniform penetration of the sample for 30 minutes.

9. Penetration of both parts (fabric and multifiber) must be carried out in A petri dish (A).In this process, the sample must weigh 2x to 2.5 times its original weight.

10. Test equipment must be at least 1 hour before testing is heated to 37 ° C.

11. Use at least 5 types of glass or acrylic resins even if testing only one, two or three samples.

12. The plates shall be placed first to ensure that the pressure (loading) is applied to the specimen, and the screws shall be properly secured to ensure that the pressure is permanently specified.

13. Make sure the steel plate is even/smooth.

Sample evaluation:

1. The evaluation must be conducted independently of two persons, and the average result shall prevail.

2. The assessment must be made with multiple fibers to ensure that the background does not produce a transparent effect:

1) determined grayscale;

2) gray frame with the same background color;

3) one or more originals with white paper as background or in accordance with the test method.

3. The sample edges and the original multifiber must be cut into straight lines.

4. Under the provisions of light D65, regulations Angle 45 °

5. Compare the sample complex fiber with the original complex fiber.
