On August 16, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued Announcement No. 17 of 2023, approving the release of 412 industry standards. Among the standards approved and released this time, there are 4 items in the field of footwear, namely QB/T 2673-2023 "Footwear Product Marking", QB/T 2882-2023 "Friction and Test Method for Uppers, Linings and Insoles of Footwear". Color Fastness to Bleeding", QB/T 4330-2023 "Garden Shoes", QB/T 4556-2023 "Snow Boots". The implementation dates of the four standards are all February 1, 2024.

The four footwear industry standards released this time are all revised items. Two product standards fully incorporate and reflect the advanced technical achievements of today's new products, new technologies, and new processes; one method standard supplements a test method for testing the color fastness to rubbing of footwear products; one basic standard optimizes the footwear Relevant requirements for product identification. Compared with the original standard, the main technical changes of the four revised standards are as follows:

QB/T 2673-2023

♦Changed the identification content requirements of "product name";

♦Changed the identification content requirements of "material";

♦Changed the label content requirements of "origin";

♦Changed the identification content requirements of "enterprise name and contact information";

♦Changed the identification content requirements of "executive standard number";

♦Changed the requirements for the identification content of "quality level";

♦Delete the content requirements of "Three Guarantees", "production date" and "color";

♦Changed the identification element requirements for "shoes" and "packaging (including tags)";

♦Deleted the requirement for the identification elements of "outer packaging";

♦Changed the "Form and Requirements of Marking";

♦The normative appendices "Definition of Footwear Components and Corresponding Diagrams or Text Descriptions" and "Identification of Upper Materials and Related Diagrams" etc. have been deleted.

QB/T 2882-2023

♦ Added the test method for color fastness to reciprocating rubbing of round head;

♦Changed the moving distance requirements of the metal platform in the square head reciprocating rubbing color fastness test method;

♦Changed the requirements for the felt block in the test method for the color fastness to reciprocating rubbing of the square head and the test method for the color fastness to rotating rubbing;

♦Changed the artificial sweat preparation requirements in the test methods for color fastness to reciprocating rubbing and rotating rubbing;

♦Changed the size requirements of multi-fiber standard interlining fabrics, the preparation requirements of alkaline sweat solution and the preparation requirements of acid sweat solution in the test method of color fastness to bleeding;

♦Added the requirements for the water absorption of wet friction felt blocks and the liquid absorption of sweat friction felt blocks in the test method for color fastness to reciprocating friction with square heads;

♦Added the requirements for removing excess water from the felt block in the sweat friction test in the square head reciprocating rubbing color fastness test method and the rotating rubbing color fastness test method;

♦ Added the requirements for the control felt block in the test method for the color fastness to reciprocating rubbing of the square head;

♦Changed the requirements for the water absorption of felt blocks in the wet friction test and the temperature requirements for dry felt blocks and samples in the test method for color fastness to rotating rubbing;

♦ Added the requirements for the amount of liquid absorbed by the felt block in the sweat friction test in the test method for color fastness to rotating friction, etc.
