The quality of leather and shoes is directly related to the quality of products. Therefore, many textile leather and corresponding manufacturers need to constantly check the properties of materials to ensure the quality of leather and shoes.

1.Purpose of test:

The tearing force of fabric and artificial leather was measured.

2.Test range:

This test method is applicable to all kinds of fabric, artificial leather and other materials

Tensile machine

4.Parameter requirements:

The speed of the tensile machine is: 200mm/min

Sample size: 100*30mm

5.Test steps:

（1）The sample shall be stored in the laboratory environment for more than 8 hours.

（2）Cut 4 or more samples in the longitudinal and latitudinal direction of the sample with the cutter. Sample cutting shall be mainly:

The samples should be at least 150mm above the material edge

The vertical-direction sample should be parallel to both sides of the material, with 2 upper and 2 lower cutting edges

The weft cut sample shall be vertical to both sides of the material, with the blade 2 up and 2 down

（3）The two ends of the sample are respectively clamped on the upper and lower clamps of the tension machine.

The part of the sample exposed to the upper clamp and the part exposed to the lower clamp should be consistent

For example, the sample in the clip should be vertical, not sideways

0. Set the speed of tension machine at 200mm/min

（4）Start the test key of the tensile force machine and start the test. When the tensile force machine tears the sample completely, record the maximum tension value of the tensile force machine.

（5）Test each sample at least 4 times and take the average value as the final result.
