45 Degree Automatic Flammability Tester: used for the determination of flame retardant properties of clothing fabrics, decorative fabrics, tent fabrics, etc.It is composed of a control system and a combustion chamber. The sample is installed on a 45° Angle inclined rack in the combustion chamber, and the nozzle is placed close to the sample. The sample is ignited with flame for a specified period of time and returned.

1. Test the intensity and speed of combustion:

Under the specified conditions, the sample was first placed at an Angle of 45°, the sample was ignited for 1s, and then the time required for the sample to burn with flame upward for a certain distance was taken as a measure of the intensity of the textile burning.For fabrics with surface fleece, the ignition or melting of the undercloth is used as an additional indicator of the intensity of combustion.

2. Damage area and damage length test:

Under the specified test conditions, the textile samples were ignited in the direction of 45° to measure the afterburning and smouldering time, damage area and damage length of the fabric.

3. Contact flame frequency test:

Under the specified test conditions, the textile sample was ignited in the direction of 45°, and the number of times that the flame needed to be touched was measured when the fabric was burned 90mm below the sample.
