In addition, sizing is used to increase yarn strength and reduce hairiness, which is particularly important for fine and high-density varieties. Such varieties are prone to produce secondary hairiness due to tearing during dry division, and increase the number of broken ends, which directly affects the quality of the spindle.Sizing quality is directly related to sizing process parameters, sizing formula, equipment status, and turning operation level.

The quality of the equipment is closely related to the quality of the pulp shaft, especially the key process components, such as the pulp roller, sizing roller, air circuit, drying cylinder, tension system, etc., the quality of the pulp shaft often fluctuates greatly due to equipment failure.For example, the aging of the pulp roller, especially the micro hole pulp roller, when used for a long time, the aging of the surface rubber and the micro hole blockage will cause its hardness to change, so as to reduce the amount of pulp;Or serious knife marks, wear marks on the surface of the roller body, etc., which lead to problems such as small sizing, uneven sizing, poor hair sticking, etc., affecting the quality of the pulp shaft, and many defects, which should be replaced periodically (at present, the grinding cycle of each factory is mostly half a year, our factory is three months), in order to maintain its good state.


Generally speaking, under the condition that the pulp pressure remains unchanged, the sizing speed is high, the sizing roller has a large amount of pulp, the pressing time of the sizing roller is short, the sizing rate is relatively high, the sizing yarn is mainly covered, but the penetration is insufficient, and the yarn will cause hairiness increase due to tearing during dry separation.If the speed is too small, the amount of pulp is small, the pressing time is long, the sizing rate is small, the size penetration coverage is insufficient, the hairiness is not effectively adhered to, the hairiness number will still be high.Therefore, the speed of sizing should be based on the warp varieties, size composition, size viscosity, drying

Reasonable setting of cylinder temperature, avoid too low and too high speed, reasonable control of penetration coverage, the number of sizing hairiness control in a reasonable range.

Large grouting force is favorable for sticking to the long hairiness of 3mm and above, but unfavorable to the short hairiness of 2mm. This is because the stiffness of the short hairiness is larger than the long hairiness, and the hairiness is not easy to lodging. In addition, when the grouting force is large, the covering layer of the sizing yarn is thinner, and the holding force of the short hairiness is not enough.
