1. Basic knowledge of permeability

Air permeates the fabric through its ability to make it breathable. It directly affects the wearing properties of the fabric. 2. Test principle of permeability

4. Fabric permeability

Natural fiber and protein fiber fabrics such as cotton, linen and wool have better air permeability than synthetic fiber fabrics such as nylon and polyester. In general, the order of fabric permeability is: perforated fabric > satin fabric > twill fabric > plain fabric; The air permeability of fabric increases with the length of fabric floating.

5. Changes in permeability

Liquid ammonia treatment can improve the air permeability of the fabric. After washing the fabric for 5 times, the air permeability changes obviously, and then gradually becomes flat. After washing for 30 times, the air permeability of the fabric tends to increase. The air permeability of baked fabrics increased after baking.
